Please help! It's fun, really. The team can't do it without you. Get the Parent Volunteer Sign Up Form. Fill it out and give it to Debbie Prusakowski. Thanks!

Here are some ideas for what you can do:

1. Practice Assistant

General supervision on shore at WSRC for novices.

2. Regattas

Tent setter-upper, food organizer, chaperone,

3. Fundraisers

Several fundraisers are held each year to help defray the high cost of maintaining a team. Proceeds go into the general fund for all rowers. The more money we make, the less money each parent has to shell out.

4. Pot-Luck Dinners

The team has a Pot-Luck Dinner at the end of the Fall and the Spring rowing seasons. We get together to celebrate the season just past, glory in our accomplishments, and tell the coaches thank you for all their time and expertise.

5. Steering Committee

The Steering Committee manages the team's expenses, makes travel arrangements for regattas, supports the coaches, entices parent volunteers, maintains the website, sends out all of those illuminating email messages, does long-range planning, and helps to recruit new rowers to the team. If you are interested in doing any of these things, please contact Meg Lauerman (meglaurerman@msn.com), who is chair of the steering committee.
